Now that we have experience both sides of the heat pump that you installed in June, I will give you some numbers. The unit did a real good job, was quiet and averaged less per month on electricity heat. As of December 1, we used 5.2 gal of propane and were warm. This compares to the 171 gas for the same period last year. For this time period the bill was more. As you can see all this adds up to one happy camper! It is everything that you said it would be and I appreciate that.

I just wanted to send you a note letting you know of a kind act that I witnessed from one of your technicians – I think his name was Rob? He was doing some work fo rmy daughter and son in law (Ryan Kramer) and as I was leaving their house the Selvey Tech was coming up the road. He stopped, got out of his truck and walked across the road to help a disabled individual get his motorized wheelchair out of a rut. He took the time out of his busy schedule to stop and help this person. In this day and age you see too little of this and I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate seeing this.

I have very old appliances. My furnace came with my 1982 mobile home. Then central air a few years later. At no time has anyone from Selvey’s tried to talk me into buying new ones. They come and do my spring and fall check-ups and have made the repairs as I need them. I know when I need new ones that Selvey will be the ones I buy from. With all the care they’ve taken with my old furnace I know I’ll get good service with the new ones.

I have used Selvey Heating and Cooling for several years and wouldn’t think of using anyone else for my needs. I use their preventative maintenance program to ensure that my furnance and air conditioner are ready for the season and have found several small problems that would have left me without heat or air conditioning due to a worn out part. Once, after my preventative maintenance trip, we did have a furnace problem and they came as soon as I called, without charge, and fixed my problem immediately.
